Here you'll find a few computing things that I've been involved in. Principally, these are papers derived from my thesis, which used Petri Nets to model Webserver performance and availability.

Availability and Performance Oriented Availability Modeling of Webserver Cache Hierarchies , paper presented at the 50th Annual Reliability and Maintainability Symposium in Los Angeles, January 2004.

Performance and Availability Modeling of Webserver Configurations , an extended version of a similarly titled paper presented at the 7th World Multiconference on Systemics, Cybernetics and Informatics (SCI2003) in Orlando, Florida in July 2003. This version includes the full Petri net diagrams and descriptions used to analyze Round-robin DNS and CARP (Cache Array Routing Protocol) clusters.

Lindenmayer Systems (L-systems), a Windows version of a class project that animates a string re-write system of user defined context free grammars to simulate plant growth.
